I almost bought a second set so that more of us could play this is up to 4 at a time. I like how it can be 1 person play, or up to 4. A round goes quickly so they can take turns if there are more than 4.
Love this game. So basically you get several balls of different colors, and tubes, you have to line up the balls in three tubes to be the same on the challenge card.
You have to decide how to move the balls from one tube to the other to have the balls line up with the same color pattern as required, and in the mean time, the balls are not allowed to be out of tubes, your hands are not allowed to touch the balls.
So you have to think fast, and be careful on balls falling out of the tube while you are trying to move balls between tubes. A very fun game that challenge both brain and hands.
Purchased this for my 6 year old boy for Christmas intended , but my kids were so bored inside the house because of rain for several days straight.
My 6 year old boy, of course, enjoyed it. Pros: Miminal Setup. Simple Rules. Can be played as one person game or up to 4 people. Cons: test tubes and balls are small.
I wish they were a bit bigger. We played this as a family, my husband, myself, and two kids age 6 and For adults, this game is easy.
For 10 year old, this is just the right level of difficulties not so difficult but not so boring. For 6 year old, it gives him great deal of accomplishment.
When my two kids and I play, we do not compete against each other or time it. When we play as a family, my husband and my daughter would team up and my son and i would team up and we would try to complete as many cards as we can and sum up the number of cards that we completed.
That will probably for 10 years and up. As this is still new to us, I am not sure about repeatability. Not sure if my kids would get bored after a week or so.
I will update my review in a while. What a fun game! It's a logic puzzle and coordination test disguised as a really fun game - and there are no batteries to buy!
Our whole family loves it and our 8 year-old has taught everyone who will listen how to play. The game goes quickly and you can play according to the rules or, if you're anything like our family, you can make up your own house rules.
For example, we follow the "no using your hands" and "if you spill, you lose" rules but choose to play until all the cards are gone and then see who has the most to determine who wins.
Anyway, if you're looking for something that your kiddos can play by themselves but isn't tedious to sit and play along with them you have found the right game.
Highly recommended! My whole family enjoys this game. It definitely requires some dexterity, so my kids younger than 8 get to use their fingers where the older kids have to play by the rules and touch only the test tubes.
The rules variations level the playing field when different ages are playing together. For example, adults have to hold all the tubes in their hands not putting any on the table while moving the balls from tube to tube.
The only problem we've had is balls escaping from the table and rolling under furniture. The balls also look VERY much like candy, so the game needs to stay far, far away from kids younger than 3 unless an adult is watching very closely.
So, the game is good as a logic game for a 6 year old. The game rule states that you are not allowed to touch the balls, which then makes it very difficult.
We have adapted the rules so that the child can touch the balls as he pours, making it a pure logic game for him, while adults are not allowed to touch the balls, making it a dexterity game for us.
We also stopped resetting the game to the start position and make everyone get back to the start position before trying to mix the card. All in all, an OK game, but it would be nice if the logic challenges were harder, since the 6 year old already has that part figured out.
This game is one of the more aggravating games I have played, and it is a hoot!!! A caveat is that, if you are playing with someone who has a lot of difficulty with hand-eye coordination, it likely will not be fun for them.
There's more to it than that though. If you were playing with someone who struggles with hand-eye coordination, you could probably modify how it's played so that they can join in as well.
I'm just not sure how that would work. Cute game, but beat with competitive and older crowd who can think through the means to win. Found lots of frustration with eight year old who expected it to be easier than it was.

Jack Carter is a U. Marshal who reluctantly ends up as Sheriff of Eureka. Jack is consistently dumbfounded by the wonders Eureka produces, as well as its propensity to produce things that often threaten the entire town, if not the world.
Despite being a man of average intelligence in a town full of geniuses, Jack's admittedly simplistic ideas and ability to make intuitive connections between seemingly disparate events often save the day.
This is in contrast to the other residents of Eureka, who, being stereotypical scientists, tend to over-complicate things and get lost in minutiae.
His overall role in the series does not change in the new timeline. In the series finale, Allison tells him she is pregnant.
Zoe Carter is Jack's rebellious teenage daughter. Unlike her father, she is intelligent enough to keep up with the town's residents her IQ is , yet like her father, possesses the street smarts most of the town's residents do not.
She longs to be a medical doctor, and with the help of Henry's recommendation letter, receives an early acceptance to Harvard Medical School.
She dates Lucas but in the altered timeline, they broke up when Lucas moved to Geneva, and she was showing interest in Zane until he started dating Jo again.
She is also a bit more mature and responsible after her time at Harvard. In the series finale, she is about to graduate summa cum laude from Harvard.
Allison Blake is a Department of Defense agent who acts as the liaison between Eureka and the Federal Government, and later becomes the director of Global Dynamics.
She is always at the forefront of any dilemma that might arise. Allison is also raising her son Kevin, an autistic youth whose father died when he was still a baby, and Jenna, the daughter she conceived with Nathan shortly before his death.
After the change in the timeline, Kevin is no longer autistic, and she never became director of GD; she is, instead, head of GD's medical science division.
In the series finale, she reveals she is pregnant. Nathan Stark is one of Eureka's top scientists, and a Nobel laureate. He and Jack are frequently at odds, though both respect each other.
He was married to Allison, and they rekindled their relationship in the second season. They were supposed to get remarried in the third season, but he dematerializes while saving the world from a time paradox on the day of their wedding, an event that still occurred in Season 4's alternate timeline.
The character is modeled after Tony Stark. Beverly Barlowe was the town psychiatrist. She secretly works for a mysterious organization known as the "Consortium", which has expressed a desire to exploit Eureka's innovations by whatever means necessary.
A primary villain in Seasons 1 and 2, she is absent for all of season 3, but returns in the Season 4s "Stoned", and meets with Dr.
Trevor Grant in a clandestine meeting where she reveals she is the daughter of Adam Barlow, who worked with Grant in Beverly lures Grant into cooperating with her and her organization.
She escapes capture when her plot is foiled. Later in Season 4 she infects Allison Blake with nanites so as to take control of her mind, and to enable Beverly acting as Allison to steal the GD main computer core.
Her plan is foiled, and the nanites are removed from Allison's brain. In Season 5, she is revealed to be behind the kidnapping of the Astraeus crew, though later helps Carter and others at Global Dynamics recover them.
Following an anonymous tip from Beverly, Henry's wife Grace is released from government custody.
Henry Deacon is the town jack-of-all-trades. Although, like most residents of Eureka, he is a brilliant multidisciplined scientist, Henry has ethical objections to the kind of research conducted at Global Dynamics, preferring employment as the town's mechanic.
Henry's assistance is often invaluable in defusing the situations the experiments in town create.
In the Season 1 finale set in , Henry is married to Kim, and attempts to save her life by traveling back in time to the point where she died.
Her death cannot be prevented, and Henry mourns her loss. During Season 3, he was elected mayor as a write-in candidate. Following the change in timeline in season 4, he is suddenly married to Grace, and is trying to keep the timeline shift a secret.
Late into the 4th season, he confides in his "wife" after he realizes he is beginning to fall in love with her. They subsequently 'renew their vows'.
In the series finale, following an anonymous tip from Beverly Barlowe, Grace is released from government custody. Henry also becomes the new Director of Global Dynamics after Fargo steps down.
Grace Monroe is Henry's wife. They are shown as a close couple with her being his intellectual equal, often helping him with his work.
At the beginning of the "Founder's Day" episode in Season 4 Henry and Grace barely know each other by the end, after the group returns to the present altered timeline, Henry discovers they are married.
When Henry later reveals the truth about the alternate timeline she is upset, and wants "her Henry" back; but he is eventually able to win her affection, and by the "Clash of the Titans" episode they renew their vows and she accepts that this Henry is "her Henry.
She was revealed to be a spy in the alternate timeline, working in tandem with Henry Deacon, and an anonymous tip from Beverly Barlowe released her from government custody.
Jo Lupo is a tough, no-nonsense cop with a love of firearms. From Season 2 onwards, after a brief fling with Taggart, she later develops a relationship with Zane.Super nice staff and good selection of frames!
